Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) is proud to release the first exclusive Wool Colour Directions booklet for autumn / winter 2008.

AWI has worked with renowned trends forecasters Sophie Steller and d.Cipher to create Colour Direction - a booklet which provides colour forecasts for the Autumn Winter 2008/2009 season.

Mr Jimmy Jackson, Global Product Development Manager at AWI said: “We are pleased to be able to offer Colour Directions to retailers, designers, and manufacturers globally – to assist them with developing their Autumn Winter 08/09 collection and selecting the trend-forward colours perfect for use in their woollen garments.”

Sophie Steller is a forecaster who has more than seventeen years experience with yarn, colour and trend research, and has specialised in all aspects of knitwear design. Sophie has also worked advising fashion businesses such as the Arcadia Group, Marks and Spencer, American Eagle Outfitters, and more.

d.cipher is an international trend forecasting business focused on colour and its application in the fashion and design industries. Founding in July 1997, by Christine Foden, d.cipher has become internationally known for its ability to tap into the global consciousness and accurately convey trends into commercial opportunities. With over 20 years experience in the fashion business, Christine and her team currently work with leading international businesses including, H&M, Nike, Fila, Gap.
