ISPO Germany 2007

AWI stand at ISPO 2007

20 February 2007

Extreme sport is a growing trend all around the world. Recently at ISPO 2007 in Munich, Germany, the full range of benefits and innovations available in Australian Merino were in the spotlight.

From February 4th – 7th Australian Wool Innovation held a stand at ISPO 2007.

ISPO is the world’s largest sport apparel trade show. The primary aim of ISPO is to intensify and strengthen the communication and support retailers access for an array of beneficial performance and sporting products. The trade show also provides a meeting point for some of the world’s largest sporting manufacturers, designers and retailers.

AWI products at ISPO 2007 show how Australian Merino has been taken to the extremes with some of the latest technologies from:

  • Bright new whites and colour techniques
  • Controlled felting to increase thickness, reduce air permeability and increase strength
  • Feather weight textiles that are stain resistant, quick dry, flexible and comfortable next to skin

A partnership with Driza-Bone resulted in a large Driza-Bone display area as part of the AWI stand to preview the products and technologies now available and in use with commercial business partners.

Australian Merino today doesn’t just perform, it out performs.
