Jayson Brunsdon once again showed the true versatility of Australian Merino wool with his Spring Summer 08 collection – in stores in January.

“I feel very proud to work with Australian Merino wool. It is an exciting fibre and surprising to use tropical weight wool with a wet look finish for a resort collection. The Australian Merino wool which I have previously utilised has been very well received and many wool garments have been ordered by customers across the globe,” said Brunsdon.

Tina Kalivas

Tina Kalivas stormed the catwalks with her unique Spring Summer 08 collection – the entire theme of collection screams ‘Kalivas’, the strong tailoring, structure, and almost costume design element to the entire collection is astounding.

The softness and luxury of the fabrics used for the collection added a truly original touch. “I wanted to make clothes that everybody is comfortable in, and feels gorgeous wearing,” said Kalivas.

Seventy percent of the Tina Kalivas Spring Summer 08 collection is made using quality Australian Merino wool or wool blend fabrics. This is a statement for the versatile, luxury, and durable qualities of the fibre.

Australian Merino the ultimate

“Australian Merino wool was the ultimate option for me to utilise this season – it is fitting for the tailoring and drape I require for my garments and provides wearers with a luxuriously soft next to skin feeling,” said Kalivas.
