Australian Wool Innovation Limited (AWI) introduced seventeen Australian Merino wool products at Outdoor Retailer, each offering special technologies to benefit the outdoor active customer.

Outdoor Retailer is the leading outdoor industry trade event, held in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA at the Salt Palace Convention Centre from 27th - 30th of January 2007.

The collections of fabrics displayed by AWI have been created using some of the most cutting edge textile technology in partnership with key manufacturers from across the globe.

The collection truly demonstrates Australian Merino wool’s transition from traditional use to a modern, intricate, highly adaptable fibre for ultimate lightweight active goods, from performance to durable outdoor apparel.

Through a partnership with The North Face, AWI was also able to display the new technologies in use with commercial partners.

The products in the spotlight at Outdoor Retail will sit under three platforms; Merino Climate, Merino Stretch, and Merino Protect.
